Parkwood Hills located on the western side of Ottawa within the green belt. The neighbourhood is characterized by single homes built mostly in the 1950s to 1970s. You will find many extra large lots and the area is undergoing major changes. Intensification is more common as construction of new, luxury single houses and sometimes semi-detached homes are common. The community also attracts many young families. Those who prefer to stay in a more central area often consider Parkwood Hills, Rideauview, Fisher Glen and Skyline.
