Parkwood Hills located on the western side of Ottawa within the green belt. The neighbourhood is characterized by single homes built mostly in the 1950s to 1970s. On the other side of the beach is the Rideau River Canoe club one of the most popular outdoor activity clubs in the city. Carleton University is a short bike ride away.
