2019 A record-breaking year for Ottawa real estate 

Ottawa real estate agents sold 761 residential homes in Ottawa during December using the Ottawa MLS platform. This Compares with 660 residential homes sold in December 2018 and increase of 15.3%.

Freehold residential properties: December sales included 534 units of freehold houses (non-condominiums) and that is 13.9% higher than December 2018.

Condominiums: 227 units of Ottawa condos were sold which is an increase of almost 19% from a year ago...

Ottawa Real Estate Market November 2019 Stats

Ottawa Realtors sold 1288 residential houses and condos in November 2019 via the Ottawa MLS system. This is an increase of close to 11 per cent compared with the number of residential properties sold in November 2018.

Number of Home Sold

The number of free-hold residential homes sold was 958, an increase of over 10 per cent from November 2018.  Furthermore, 330 Ottawa condos sold via the Ottawa MLS up over 12 per cent from November 2018.

Ottawa Realtors sold 1,607 residential properties in October utilizing the Ottawa MLS Listings service (Multiple Listing Service® System), compared with 1,375 in October 2018, an increase of 16.9 per cent.

Number of Freehold Ottawa Homes and Ottawa Condos Sold

October’s sales included 1,211 in the residential freehold homes, up 15 per cent from a year ago, while 396 Ottawa condos sold, an increase of 23 per cent from October 2018. The five-year average for October unit sales is 1,319.

In Septemer 2019 Ottawa Realtors sold 1,549 residential Ottawa houses and condos via the Ottawa MLS® System. This is compared with 1,386 Ottawa condos and houses sold in September 2018, showing an increase of 11.8 per cent.
